ACTOLIND® w Gel is a protective moisturizing wound care gel developed for acute, chronic, infected and uninfected wounds as well as 1st and 2nd degree burns. Its gel structure helps cover the wound surface, supports a moist wound environment and creates a protective interface between the wound bed and the dressing.
The formula forms a thin protective film layer on the wound surface. This helps reduce dressing adhesion, fills the space between the wound and dressing, and supports easier, more comfortable dressing changes.
With 0.1% Polyhexanide and Poloxamer, ACTOLIND® w Gel supports antimicrobial protection, moisture balance and care of biofilm-prone wound surfaces while helping maintain tissue-friendly wound conditions.
POLYHEXANIDE 0.1%: Supports antimicrobial wound care and helps protect the wound surface from microbial colonization.
POLOXAMER: Supports surfactant action and helps manage debris and biofilm-prone wound environments.
PROTECTIVE FILM LAYER: Forms a thin protective layer over the wound surface and helps reduce external influence.
MOIST WOUND CARE: Helps keep the wound surface moist and supports optimal conditions for the natural healing process.
DRESSING INTERFACE: Fills the space between the wound surface and dressing to support atraumatic dressing removal.
BIOFILM-PRONE WOUND SUPPORT: Helps prevent biofilm formation and supports care of wounds at risk of recurrent contamination.
HIGH TISSUE COMPATIBILITY: Designed to be tissue-friendly and not to interfere with granulation or epithelialization.
