ACTOLIND® Gel Plus is a highly effective, ready-to-use wound care gel designed for the thorough cleansing, moistening, and long-lasting protection of acute, chronic, contaminated, and infected wounds, as well as 1st and 2nd-degree burns. By forming an active protective barrier layer over the wound bed, it creates an optimal microenvironment that supports the body’s natural tissue regeneration processes.
The innovative combination of Poloxamer and Polyhexanide (PHMB) significantly reduces surface tension, making it easier to mechanically remove stubborn crusts, necrotic tissue, cellular debris, and existing biofilms. This dual-action mechanism prevents the re-contamination of the wound bed and minimizes microbial load, ensuring a clean field for recovery.
Maintaining a balanced moist environment is essential for effective tissue healing. ACTOLIND® Gel Plus provides sustained hydration, preventing dressings, bandages, and gauze pads from sticking to the sensitive wound surface. This greatly facilitates painless dressing changes, safeguards newly formed granulation tissue, and improves patient compliance.

Product Type: Antimicrobial and moistening wound care hydrogel.

Application Method: Before applying ACTOLIND® Gel Plus, always ensure the wound is thoroughly cleansed and rinsed (ideally using ACTOLIND® w Solution) to remove loose surface particles. Apply a generous layer of the gel directly to the wound surface or fill deeper wound cavities. Bandages or dressing materials can then be applied over the gel-covered area.

For professional and medical wound care administration. Use strictly as directed by a healthcare specialist. Do not use if there is a known hypersensitivity or suspected allergic reaction to any of the raw components. Do not apply onto hyaline cartilage, inside the eyes, middle or inner ear structures, central nervous system tissues, meninx, or during aseptic joint surgeries. Do not combine or mix with anionic surfactants, cleansing soaps, thick oils, creams, or enzymatic agents, as these may impair product efficacy; ensure any such substances are completely rinsed out prior to application. Do not use for intraocular or peritoneal lavage. Application during pregnancy, lactation, or on newborns, infants, and small children must only be initiated following a comprehensive medical risk-benefit assessment and under strict clinical monitoring. Do not reuse single-use items. Keep the container sealed properly after each application and protect the nozzle or opening from direct contamination. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if any signs of persistent irritation, tissue intolerance, or unforeseen adverse side effects emerge.
